Harcourt Terrace - Local Area
Harcourt Terrace is a magnificent, leafy, cul-de-sac of Regency Houses, located in the heart of Dublin 2. It was originally called "Jolly's Terrace" after the man who designed the street, Sir Edward Jolly.
The house is only a 6 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of St Stephen's Green and, yet, it has a wonderful neighbourhood feel. There are lots of restaurants, pubs, bars and shops within a couple of minutes walk and, with cultural and historical buildings also on your doorstep, it is an ideal location to spend your time in Dublin.
Harcourt Terrace overlooks the Grand Canal where you can take a stroll along the leafy banks and watch the barges maneuvering through the system of locks. The Charlemont Stop of the Luas Green-Line tram is just a few minutes walk away and there is a new Dublin Bikes Stand located at the end of Harcourt Terrace.
Our house is a large 4 storey over basement Regency House built in the 1840's. It was converted into 4 flats in the 1980's. and it is maintained to a very high standard. There is a communal garden at the back of the house and a parking space underneath the garden that may be rented separately, if available.
